El Rio Mexican restaurant

Article Title Here

We visited this restaurant one day after rafting on the ocoee river. We were tired and hungry. We stopped in and were able to get a table right away. We were welcomed with the traditional chips and salsa and asked to start with a pitcher of margaritas. Sadly we were told that they only sell beer. What!? How can we enjoy Mexican food without a margarita we asked ourselves. Wow. Well we were so tired and hungry we opted for a pitcher of beer instead. The beer I might add was a very reasonably priced. I am not sure if that is because a most people in the area do not order beer, or if that is just the way of small towns, either way, it made up for the non margarita options.

We left very satisfied and it was your normal Mexican Restaurant experience.  We have been back on numerous occasions, after a Toccoa Kayak or tubing experience - we still ask for Margaritas everytime.  Maybe one day.
